Join Us for Divine Service

This Sunday, May 24, 2026, at 10:30 AM, Holy Trinity Reformed Church invites you to join us for the Divine Service as we gather before the Lord in reverent worship, hear His holy Word, confess the faith once for all delivered to the saints, and receive the Sacrament of Holy Communion.

Our sermon will be from John 5:30, where our Lord Jesus Christ declares:

“I can of Myself do nothing. As I hear, I judge; and My judgment is righteous, because I do not seek My own will but the will of the Father who sent Me.”

—John 5:30, NKJV

The sermon is titled:

“The Hypostatic Authority and Submission of Jesus Christ”

In this message, we will consider the glorious mystery of the incarnate Son of God: true God and true Man, one Person in two natures, possessing all authority as the eternal Son, and yet willingly submitted to the Father according to His incarnate mission for our salvation.

In an age that is confused about authority, submission, identity, and truth, the Church must return again and again to the person of Jesus Christ. He is not merely an example, teacher, prophet, or moral reformer. He is the eternal Son of God made flesh, the One who reveals the Father, accomplishes redemption, lays down His life for the sheep, and reigns as Lord over all.

This will also be a service of Word and Sacrament, and we will partake of Holy Communion together.

All who have been granted faith and repentance by the grace of God, through the merits, passion, death, and resurrection of Jesus Christ; who have been baptized in the name of the Triune God; and who are members in good standing with Christ’s Holy Church are warmly invited to come to the Lord’s Table and celebrate the Eucharist with us.

At the Lord’s Table, Christ strengthens His people, nourishes our faith, and reminds us that our salvation rests not in ourselves, but in His finished work, His broken body, and His shed blood.

Following the service, we will share a pitch-in dinner and fellowship. Guests are warmly invited to stay, eat, visit, ask questions, and enjoy Christian fellowship with us.
