OUR AFFILIATION
Holy Trinity Reformed Church's decision to join Evangel Presbytery in 2019 was a significant step in their journey of faith. The church's desire to be a part of a community of like-minded believers and their commitment to the reformed faith prompted them to take this decision. Since joining, the church has been an active member of the presbytery, attending various events and activities organized by the association.
Evangel Presbytery is a relatively new association of reformed churches that was established in 2019. It was formed by a group of teaching and ruling elders who provisionally adopted a set of constitutional documents. The presbytery was established in the mainstream of historic Protestant and Reformed practice and doctrine, with a desire to promote fellowship, cooperation, and mutual encouragement among its member churches. As a member of Evangel Presbytery, Holy Trinity Reformed Church has found a community of like-minded believers who share their commitment to the reformed faith. They have been able to participate in various events and activities organized by the presbytery, which have provided opportunities for growth and encouragement. The church has been able to collaborate with other churches in the presbytery and has benefited from the wisdom and experience of its leaders. If you have any inquiries about Evangel Presbytery, you can reach out to Lucas Weeks, the stated clerk, at [email protected]. The presbytery is always happy to hear from anyone interested in learning more about their mission and work. Evangel Presbytery is not aiming to replace any other presbytery or aspire to any purity of doctrine or practice unique in the present ecclesiastical context. Instead, the presbytery seeks to promote unity and fellowship among its member churches while upholding the historic Protestant and Reformed practice and doctrine. |
