OUR WORSHIP
At Holy Trinity, we cherish the ancient and time-honored Christian liturgy and strive to incorporate it into our worship services. We believe that liturgical worship provides a structure for expressing our devotion to God and for encountering His presence in a profound and meaningful way. Our worship services are designed to be both solemn and engaging, with a special emphasis on the Word of God and the sacraments of baptism and communion.
Our liturgical worship at Holy Trinity is deeply rooted in the Reformation, a time of spiritual awakening that sought to reform the Holy Catholic Church and bring it back to the authority of the Bible. Reformed worship is a means to communicate and impart genuine devotion and personal transformation through the means of grace: the Word, sacrament, and prayer. This is achieved through the active participation of the congregation in Biblically-based and traditional liturgies. |
Our reformed worship services at Holy Trinity consist of the public reading of Scripture, sermons that expound and apply the Bible, collective prayers for needs near or far, singing that blends Psalms, traditional hymns, and contemporary compositions, and the observance of the sacraments. The intent of reformed worship is multifaceted: it honors God’s supremacy, invokes His presence, unites hearts around His truth, edifies believers as they learn more about Him while being conformed into His likeness.
We invite you to join us this Sunday as we worship the Triune God in liturgy, community, and mission. Our liturgical worship provides a sacred space where we can encounter the living God in a meaningful way. Our services are designed to engage the mind, the heart, and the soul, with the goal of transforming us into the image of Christ. We believe that through our liturgical worship, we can better understand and experience God's love, mercy, and grace, and be empowered to share it with those around us. Come and be part of our community as we worship the Lord in the beauty of holiness.
