HOLY TRINITY REFORMED CHURCH

12 Year
Anniversary Service

October 12, 2025

☩ RECLAIM THE FAITH ☩ RESTORE THE CHURCH ☩ RENEW THE WORLD ☩

Twelve years ago, Holy Trinity Reformed Church was planted with one clear purpose: to proclaim the Lordship of Jesus Christ, to recover the ancient faith, and to build a faithful church in south-central Indiana.

We invite you to join us for our 12th Anniversary Service, where we will give thanks for God’s faithfulness, celebrate His work among us, and renew our commitment to Christ and His kingdom.
☩ Sunday School – 9:30 am ☩
☩ Divine Worship with Holy Communion – 10:30 am ☩
☩ Fellowship Meal to follow ☩

Our worship is reverent, liturgical, Scripture-saturated, and centered on Word and Sacrament. Our community is covenantal, intergenerational, and counter-cultural, seeking to build strong families, strong faith, and a strong witness in the world.

In an age of confusion and compromise, Holy Trinity Reformed Church is committed to standing firm in the truth, goodness, and beauty of historic Christianity. If you are searching for depth, stability, and orthodoxy—if you long for worship that is reverent and sacred—if you desire a church that proclaims the whole counsel of God without compromise—then Holy Trinity is the home you have been looking for.

Join us as we give thanks for twelve years of God’s grace and look forward to the future with faith and courage.

THE TIME IS NOW!
The Church has been deconstructed. In the West, what once stood firm as the center of faith and life has been torn down by the false promises of modernity, secularism, and shallow religion. Many churches today have abandoned the pure preaching of God’s Word, the right administration of the Sacraments, and the practice of loving discipline. Worship has become entertainment, truth has been watered down, and the mission of Christ’s Church has been replaced by the trends of the age.

At Holy Trinity Reformed Church, we believe God has called us to be a faithful outpost in this time of great apostasy. We are seeking revival, reformation, and restoration of the ancient faith once for all delivered to the saints (Jude 3). With the Bible as our final authority, we gladly walk in the guidance of the historic Church, the Church Fathers, and the classical theology of the Reformation. We stand in continuity with the faith of Clement, Ambrose, Basil, Luther, and Calvin, who proclaimed Christ with courage and clarity in their generations.

Our worship is rooted in the Word of God, shaped by the ancient and Reformed tradition, and focused entirely on the glory of God. Each Lord’s Day we gather to hear the Scriptures preached, confess our sins and receive Christ’s pardon, sing Psalms and hymns, and partake of the Lord’s Supper as Christ has commanded. Here, we seek to live as the communion of saints—bound together by faith, united in love, and strengthened by the grace of Jesus Christ.

We are also striving to be an Evangelistic church. Christ has called His people to be salt and light and to make the world Christian, and we desire to see our community transformed by the power of the Gospel. In a culture that has lost its foundations, we labor to rebuild on the sure cornerstone of Jesus Christ. By teaching the Scriptures, caring for the needy, and proclaiming the ancient Gospel, we aim to bear witness to the truth and beauty of the Kingdom of God.

If you are longing for what is biblical, authentic, and ancient—if you desire worship that is holy, reverent, and true—we invite you to join us. Holy Trinity Reformed Church is not perfect, but we are committed to following Christ and contending earnestly for the faith in our time. Together, by God’s grace, we seek to rebuild the ruins and shine as a light in the darkness.

“The choice before us is plain: Christ or chaos, conviction or compromise, discipline or disintegration. I am rather tired of hearing about our rights and privileges as American citizens. The time is come—it is now—when we ought to hear about the duties and responsibilities of our citizenship. America’s future depends upon her accepting and demonstrating God’s government.”
–Rev. Peter Marshall, U.S. Senate Chaplain, January 13, 1947

Urgent Message from Holy Trinity Reformed Church

Dear Brothers and Sisters in Christ,

In this critical hour, we call upon you to join Holy Trinity Reformed Church in contending earnestly for "the faith which was once for all delivered to the saints" (Jude 1:3). As the forces of secularism, modernism, and moral decay continue to dismantle the foundations of our faith, we must rise with courage and conviction to rebuild Christ's Holy Church in Camby and Mooresville, Indiana.

We stand in a time when the truth of the Gospel is under attack, and many have abandoned the historic Christian faith for the fleeting philosophies of this world. But we, as believers in the Risen Lord, are called to a higher mission. We are called to stand firm, to uphold the sacred truths of Scripture, and to proclaim the lordship of Jesus Christ in every corner of our community.

At Holy Trinity Reformed Church, we are committed to restoring the reverence, holiness, and truth of God's Word. Our mission is clear: to rebuild a vibrant and faithful Christian community that honors God, nurtures His people, and advances the Kingdom of Christ. But we cannot do this alone. We need faithful men and women who will stand with us in this holy cause—those who are willing to fight the good fight, to pray fervently, and to work diligently to see Christ's Church restored in our towns.

Now is the time to act. Now is the time to unite. Let us be a shining light in the darkness, proclaiming boldly the Gospel of Jesus Christ, and working together to see His Church rebuilt, strengthened, and flourishing once more.

Join us at Holy Trinity Reformed Church, and together, let us contend earnestly for the faith, rebuild Christ’s Holy Church, and carry His light into the world.

In Christ's Service,

Holy Trinity Reformed Church

Living By Faith

"Now the just shall live by faith;
But if anyone draws back,
My soul has no pleasure in him.”
–Hebrews 10:38 [NKJV]

Living by faith is a central and profound concept rooted in the teachings of Scripture. At its core, living by faith involves a deep trust and reliance on God's promises and a transformed way of life that flows from this trust.

1. Trusting in God's Promises: Living by faith starts with a fundamental trust in the promises of God. This trust extends to the foundational Christian belief that salvation is by grace through faith in Jesus Christ (Ephesians 2:8-9). Faith is the channel through which God's grace and promises flow into our lives. It's a complete dependence on God's faithfulness and reliability.

Rebuilding the Foundations of the Ancient Christian Faith

8/2/2023

By Pastor James Brown Jr.

The ancient Christian faith stands as a timeless and unshakable anchor in the ever-changing tides throughout the history of mankind. Rooted in the revelation of God through Scripture and the witness of the early Church, it has endured trials, persecution, and theological challenges over the centuries. Yet, in the modern era, the foundations of this ancient faith are facing disbelief, dilution, and deconstruction due to a very disoriented, disorderly, and disobedient Western Church. The urgent need to rebuild these foundations arises from the call to preserve and proclaim the unchanging truth of the Gospel, ensuring that future generations will inherit a stedfast and powerful faith. If this is to happen, we must commit ourselves to the vital task of rebuilding the foundations of the ancient Christian faith. To begin this renewal, we must focus on three key aspects: a return to the authority of Scripture, a reaffirmation of core Christian doctrines, and a renewal of Christ-centered living.

YOU ARE INVITED
June 25, 2023

Sunday School – 9:30 am
Join us for our Sunday School class as we continue our study of Dietrich Bonhoeffer's influential work, "Life Together: The Classic Exploration of Christian Community." This book explores the essence and importance of Christian fellowship and community. Through our study, we will discover the biblical principles and practical insights that guide us in building meaningful relationships within the body of Christ. This study will deepen our understanding of the vital role that genuine Christian community plays in our spiritual growth and our witness to the world.

Worship Service – 10:30 am
We are currently in the midst of an inspiring sermon series titled "Empowered by the Spirit: Proclaiming Jesus as Lord and Christ." In this series, we explore the power and work of the Holy Spirit in our lives and the significance of proclaiming Jesus as our Lord and Savior. Through the study of Scripture and relevant teachings, we seek to understand the transformative impact of the Holy Spirit on our faith, personal lives, and mission as a church. Each week, we are encouraged to grow deeper in our relationship with Christ and to boldly proclaim Him as the center of our lives.

Pitch-In Dinner – 12:00 pm
Following the Worship Service, we invite you to join us for a joyful time of fellowship at our Pitch-In Dinner. It's an opportunity to share a meal together, deepen friendships, and build stronger connections within our church family. Bring a dish to share, and together we will enjoy a time of good food, laughter, and meaningful conversations. This Pitch-In Dinner is a wonderful occasion to experience the warmth and unity of our church community.

We look forward to having you join us for a day of spiritual growth, worship, and fellowship. May this Sunday be a time of refreshment, encouragement, and edification as we gather together as the body of Christ.

Never Give Up Hope

By Charles Spurgeon

–Morning and Evening, Septemper 17 – Morning

“Bring him unto me.” –Mark 9:19

Picture
Despairingly the poor disappointed father turned away from the disciples to their Master. His son was in the worst possible condition, and all means had failed, but the miserable child was soon delivered from the evil one when the parent in faith obeyed the Lord Jesus’ word, “Bring him unto me.” Children are a precious gift from God, but much anxiety comes with them. They may be a great joy or a great bitterness to their parents; they may be filled with the Spirit of God, or possessed with the spirit of evil. In all cases, the Word of God gives us one receipt for the curing of all their ills, “Bring him unto me.” O for more agonizing prayer on their behalf while they are yet babes! Sin is there, let our prayers begin to attack it. Our cries for our offspring should precede those cries which betoken their actual advent into a world of sin. In the days of their youth we shall see sad tokens of that dumb and deaf spirit which will neither pray aright, nor hear the voice of God in the soul, but Jesus still commands, “Bring them unto me.” When they are grown up they may wallow in sin and foam with enmity against God; then when our hearts are breaking we should remember the great Physician’s words, “Bring them unto me.” Never must we cease to pray until they cease to breathe. No case is hopeless while Jesus lives.

The Lord sometimes suffers His people to be driven into a corner that they may experimentally know how necessary He is to them. Ungodly children, when they show us our own powerlessness against the depravity of their hearts, drive us to flee to the strong for strength, and this is a great blessing to us. Whatever our morning’s need may be, let it like a strong current bear us to the ocean of divine love. Jesus can soon remove our sorrow, He delights to comfort us. Let us hasten to Him while He waits to meet us.

Are You Devoted

Watch, stand fast in the faith, be brave, be strong. 14 Let all that you do be done with love.  I urge you, brethren—you know the household of Stephanas, that it is the firstfruits of Achaia, and that they have devoted themselves to the ministry of the saints—that you also submit to such, and to everyone who works and labors with us. –1 Corinthians 16:13-16
The apostle Paul's exhortation in 1 Corinthians 16:13-16 calls us to a life of devotion. It challenges us to examine the depth of our commitment to Christ, to the Church as instituted by Him, and to the various aspects of church life and ministry. It implores us to reflect on our devotion and consider the following:

Dear brothers and sisters in Christ,

We are living in a time of deconstruction, where the foundations of Christendom and Western civilization are being torn down. Postmodernism, relativism, individualism, and pride have eroded the faith and values that have guided our societies for centuries. Sin and rebellion against Christ and His Church are rampant, leading us down a path of destruction.

Keys to Rebuilding the Church in the midst of Destruction

4/18/2023

1. Word of God: The preaching of the Word is central to the life of the church. It is through the preaching of the Word that the people of God are built up, encouraged, and instructed in righteousness. The foundation of any church must be the preaching of the Word of God. Therefore, the pastors and elders must be committed to the preaching and teaching of the whole counsel of God, even if it is not popular or culturally acceptable.
