Sanctity of Life Sunday

Dear Life-Supporting Friend,

In 2022, the right to abortion has been one of the most heated discussions in our country.

We rejoice that the Supreme Court overturned Roe vs. Wade in June. But this hasn't stopped abortion, it simply placed the decision back into the hands of each state. While many states have chosen to stop abortions, we still recognize the awful tragedy that, on average, the lives of approximately 98 precious babies are ended every hour!

September 11, 2022

Dear Members and Guests of Holy Trinity,

"Whoever believes that Jesus is the Christ is born of God, and everyone who loves the Father loves the one born of the Father. By this we know that we love the children of God: when we love God and keep His commandments." –1 John 5:1-2

Grace, mercy, and peace from God our Father and Jesus Christ our Lord.

We entered into 2020, not realizing the changes that would speedily occur up to the present. These changes have been life-altering both from without and within the Church. Although circumstances have changed, what must not change is our love and devotion to Christ and His Church. Trials, tribulations, and temptations are tests of our faith (belief) and faithfulness (practice). Ultimately, it is a test of our love for Christ and our love for one another.

The Honorable John Young
Indiana House of Representatives
200 W. Washington St.
Indianapolis, IN 46204-2797

July 21, 2022

Dear Representative Young,

Thank you for your service to God and the people of the State of Indiana.

God has blessed the great state of Indiana abundantly for over 206 years. However, it does not take much discernment to see that we have increasingly come under God's judgment because of our many sins. Our society has been deconstructing with such acceleration that all hope seemed lost.

Dear Sir/Ma'am,

We have much to rejoice and be thankful for in the United States Supreme Court overturning of Roe v Wade. Still yet, we, the Church, have much to repent of and not just in relation to abortion. We should take this kindness of our Lord as gracious space in which to humble ourselves before the Lord and repent of our many sins of omission and commission.

Happy Mother's Day!

With the reengaged debate over abortion due to the leak of the pending Supreme Court in Dobbs v. Jackson, we are reminded it is "Happy Mother's Day" and not "Happy You Murdered Your Unborn Baby Day!" Aborted babies do not rise up and call their mother blessed. Only the living can give her praise.

So, we who are living give thanks that our mothers did not kill us in the womb but submitted themselves to the created natural order in love and sacrifice. However, the landscape is drastically changing where instead of honoring life, motherhood, love, and sacrifice, we are becoming a society that honors death, unnatural identities, hatred, and selfishness. Proverbs 8:36 declares that all who hate wisdom love death.
